History of the Society

The Norwich Medico-Chirurgical Society is nearly 160 years old and is one of the oldest medical societies still in existence, with origins going back to the early days of the N&N hospital in the 18th century. 

Attending a Meeting

Meetings

Meetings are usually held every couple of months and range from local experts to nationally renowned figures in medical or related topics. The meetings are open to everyone – you don’t have to be a member or doctor. We also welcome students and retired colleagues.
