Next Meeting
After a long pause in our activities we returned in March and April with two special events specifically for Medical Students discussing medical careers and research opportunities. In May we held the annual Carlile Prize.
Our next meeting is with guest speaker Diego Olivari, Emergency Medicine Consultant and author of the book Burnout .
Tuesday June 30th
All events will be in the Gooch Lecture theatre Level 1 NNUH and start at 6pm with refreshments followed by talks from 6.30pm.
Diego Olivari
Diego draws on his experience from both the military and the NHS to look at the causes of burnout in medicine. His book Burnout asks difficult questions and offers constructive ways to negotiate the sharp edge of a medical career.
