Full Membership
Full Membership of Med Chi is for qualified medical practitioners and is only £40 a year.
This allows you to attend all social events* and the AGM. More importantly you will be contributing to the work of the society which supports Residents and Medical Students.
You will also have access to the Members only section of the website which has a growing range of resources including some videos and slides from recent talks.
Joining Med Chi is useful for a few reasons.
Firstly, your small yearly financial contribution helps support Medical Students, through prizes and the grant for financial hardship. If everyone contributes a little we can continue to offer very generous awards.
Secondly, you can come to all the social events we arrange and we can keep ticket prices low. We often hold dinners in lovely venues like The Great Hospital or The Assembly House.
*Sometimes we arrange a Past Presidents dinner which you are invited to as well, but you have to join our council or offer to be a President for a year!
Also, we’re working on this new website and hope the slides from talks and even videos will be available in the members area. So you can catch up or watch again if you missed something.
